This class is a way of learning how to use digital technology that is current time. Before this class I was in film photography which is very different but also helped out a lot. Photoshop is very different from printing in a dark room but there is a lot more you can do you photoshop. Photoshop was really hard for me to use the first couple weeks but eventually I got the hang of it. Most of the projects we do aren't just normal pictures, they'll have dome interesting twist on them which makes them exiting. Editing people is one of the hardest things because you have to get all of the messy hairs, brighten teeth and eyes, covering blemishes and fix any lighting problems.

 

Using the camera in here was a very different experience  for me. From the film photo class I had already known all of the manual settings but there was such much more with portraits mode and landscape. Also action pictures are much easier with a digital camera where you can take a burst of pictures. I am taking more photo classes here at west and its something I'm really interested in.
